Iguazu Falls: Extension
A series of 275 waterfalls running along almost two miles of the Iguazu River, Iguazu straddles the border between Argentina and Brazil.
DAY ONE
Your flight from Buenos Aires to Iguazu will take roughly two hours. Your driver will meet you at the airport and then you will head directly out for a full-day visit to the falls.
An ecological train will take you across the national park which skirts the upper Iguazu River. Take a pleasant stroll along the modern catwalks that spread over the river to the lookout point which offers a sprawling view of South America’s most fascinating waterfalls. On the way back, walk along the Upper Trail, which offers a captivating perspective of the falls from above and across to Brazil.
In the afternoon, you’ll take a four-wheel truck ride across the rain forest along the Yacaratia Trail, cut deep into the Misiones Jungle. With luck you’ll see wild orchids, monkeys, and an amazing array of birds. After a short walk down to a sandy beach, you’ll embark on a boat ride upstream along the lower part of the river to approach the falls from another angle.
Transfer to your accommodation which overlooks the Iguazu and Paraná Rivers and is surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Tonight, we suggest a long dinner at the hotel before spending a relaxing night immersed in your exuberant surroundings.

DAY TWO
After breakfast this morning you’ll approach the falls from the Brazilian side, with a view of la garganta del Diablo, an array of 14 falls dropping 350 feet into a pool with such immense force that a constant 100-foot cloud of spray lingers overhead.
You’ll spend the remainder of the day hiking the park’s trails, and zip lining through the Iguazu forest canopy. You'll also have an opportunity to rappel down a major rock face opposite Iguazu Falls--a fantastic experience--though not for the faint of heart!
Return to your hotel for dinner and a quiet evening.

DAY THREE
After breakfast you will be met and driven to Iguazu Airport in time to meet your return flight to Buenos Aires.
